The SFBAA will be hosting its final General Membership Meeting of 2024 on Wednesday, September 25th in Boca Raton. The meeting will be taking place at the Signature Aviation FBO at the Boca Raton Airport (BCT) from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
We are excited to announce our first ever Panel Discussion in hopes of providing an interactive and informative experience benefiting all facets of our membership. The topic will be "How to Successfully Navigate the Business Aviation Industry." We are pleased to announce our four panelists:
Karen Huggard Karen is the Vice President of Government Affairs for the National Air Transportation Association (NATA). She is deeply involved in advocating for business aviation on Capitol Hill as a lobbyist and will be speaking about current legislation hot topics, including the recent FAA re-authorization bill -- what it means for now and in the future. Scott Burgess Scott is the founder of Aviation Legal Group, P.A. a law practice devoted exclusively to business aviation. He will be speaking about some of the industry standard best practices and how to setup your aircraft ownership/operation/business for success, while avoiding transactional and liability pitfalls. Mark Binko Mark is the Chief Executive Officer of National Jets. Mark will be talking about how to drive growth and innovation in your company, with a focus on how to a deliver best-in-class experience to your customers. He has extensive experience in business development and customer service, and is excited to share his tips for fostering a culture of excellence within your organization. Neil Engerran Neil is the Director of Sales & Recruiting for Jet Aviation Staffing. He will be speaking about how to successfully recruit, develop, and retain top talent within the business aviation industry. He will share his thoughts on the future outlook of the job marketplace and where it's headed. There will also be ample time for Q&A, so please come prepared with your questions. In addition, we are having an open "New Product Demo" area for our members during the networking time (first hour of the event).
